I followed BIO stream for Advance Levels. My childhood dream was to become a Doctor, yet failed. However my life did not collapse. I played the Guitar in a music band. But it neither worked for me. Although I am a non-serious, stubborn character as a schoolchild, I successfully completed a degree in Interior Architecture in a semi-government university having foreseen the Architecture as one of the most demanding fields in the world.
After working in a reputed Architecture Company in the country, the passion to start my own business grew inside me. Therefore, I resigned from the said job and registered a company by my own name. I started it as a small company. A Facebook page was also created to promote my business. After sometime, I got the opportunity to design the house of Lahiru Thirimanna – a well-known Cricketer in Sri Lanka. Since he has found my architectural designs shared on Facebook outstanding.
Thereafter I got the privilege of designing interior designs for Seven-Star hotel companies such as Shangri-La Apartments and Park Height Apartments. One of my designs have been proposed as an interior design for Lotus Tower as well. Nothing is impossible if you have self-confidence and a great will. Today I am a famous Interior Architect who earns a monthly income over 1.5 lakhs. My ultimate goal is to bring the name of Sri Lanka into greater heights in the field of Architecture.
